Ingredients

150g dark baking chocolate, chopped

110g unsalted butter, cubed

2 eggs

50g coconut sugar

50g light brown sugar

90g gluten free flour

1 Everiday Gluten Free Pizza Base

Preheat the oven to 190 °C/380 °F. Line a baking tin or dish with baking parchment

Place the chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl over a pan of simmering water (bain-marie or double boiler). Melt while stirring occasionally.

In a large bowl, beat together the eggs and the sugars until light and fluffy. Add the melted chocolate-butter mixture and mix until combined.

Add the flour and mix gently until just combined.

Transfer the batter into the prepared tin and scoop the kaya on top. Using a bbq stick or the tip of a knife, swirl the kaya around.

Bake for 18 to 22 minutes maximum. The tip of a knife should come out with some batter on it when inserted in the center. Life to cool completely before slicing.

    While the brownies are still warm, place them briefly in the freezer. It will help them set into a gooey texture and stop them from cooking a little longer while cooling down.
